Dr. Bernstein had one of the first five Wavelight Sinon® ruby lasers in the U.S. and was the first to have it in Pennsylvania. The Wavelight Sinon® Ruby laser is a Q-switched laser for removing tattoos and unwanted pigmentation such as freckles, lentigines, and café au lait birthmarks. The Sinon® Ruby laser can also improve the appearance of pigmented scars. It emits red light in pulses approximately 20 nanoseconds (billionths of a second) long. Short pulses are ideal for removing microscopic pigment granules. The Sinon® Ruby laser emits a relatively short wavelength of red light at 694 nm. This means that the Sinon® laser is ideal for treating freckles, lentigines, and black tattoos in more lightly pigmented patients. It adds another option for treating black tattoos and unwanted pigmentation so that you can get the fastest removal of your unwanted pigmentation or tattoo in the least number of treatments.
