The PicoSure® laser was the first commercial picosecond-domain laser for treating skin. The PicoSure® laser delivers 755 nm, 1,064 nm, and 532 nm laser energy for treating multicolor tattoos. This laser is unique in that the 755 nm wavelength is the primary wavelength, offering the highest energies at the wavelength where the pulse-duration, or length of time the laser fires, is shortened the most compared to conventional Q-switched lasers. This means that the PicoSure® offers maximal laser energy for treating difficult to remove green, blue, and purple pigments. In addition, the PicoSure® laser offers a Focus® Lens Array attachment for rejuvenation of sun-damaged skin.
