VBeam Prima® Laser
This innovative laser that offers advances over the Vbeam Perfecta® was for the FIRST time in the WORLD used and acquired by Dr. Bernstein. The Vbeam Perfecta® is a pulsed-dye laser (PDL) that uses a rhodamine dye to produce yellow/orange light. Dr. Bernstein participated in its development and has published in the peer reviewed literature on using it to treat rosacea, neck redness (POC) and other conditions. Like the Vbeam Perfecta®, Dr. Bernstein uses this laser to treat all sorts of vascular conditions and for the treatment of photoaging including fine lines and wrinkles and enlarged pores.

VBeam Prima® FAQ
Why is the VBeam Prima® laser called a pulsed-dye laser?
The pulses of laser energy heat the offending blood vessels long enough to damage them but not long enough to heat the surrounding skin causing a problem. That’s the pulsed part of the pulsed-dye laser.
What do I look like after treatment with the VBeam Prima® laser?
You’ll be red for sure and a little swollen at least following treatment with the VBeam Prima® laser. Redness and swelling vary tremendously depending upon you and what is being treated. It can last from a few hours to many days depending on a host of factors. We are good at predicting what type of response people will get due to our extensive experience, but at the end of the day, we are still just guessing. The best indication of how you’ll respond is how you responded to a previous treatment or test spot.
What type of conditions do you treat with the VBeam Prima® laser?
We treat virtually every vascular condition with the VBeam Prima® laser including: facial redness and rosacea, neck redness (POC), spider veins, spider angiomas, acne marks and many other conditions.
